Wednesday August 22nd 1883 Mother was in town all day I did the work and sewed a little, practiced a little too Weather not so warm as yesterday Thursday August 23rd 1883 I went to town real early this morning was at Hatts a little while after doing some trading and went from there up to see the Lomsis girls and invite them over Saturday evening. Mother was to town in the afternoon I was sewing Friday August 24th 1883 I was working about the back part of the house nearly all the forenoon I got time though to scrub the front porch and the side walks. Mother was in town all the afternoon. She thinks the baby seems some better tonight. I was doing some jobs of sewing in the afternoon. I wrote a letter to Charlie and sent some work to Lorna Mason and wrote a postal
