"as follows: viz: the North half of lots numbered "nine (9) & ten (10) in Block numbered sixty five (65) "being the same tract of land which Antoine Le Caire "& wife by indenture bearing the date the 13 day of December "1851, conveyed unto the person of Burrows & Prettyman "and the 1st of March 1856, by deed of that date "conveyed by said Prettyman to the said Burrows: the "above described premises being the same whereon are "situated at the date hereof the steam flouring mill "and the block of brick stores four stories high and five "in number belonging to the said J M D Burrows" And what knowledge if any have you of the notes secured by said Deed of Trust & therein described as 104 promissory notes executed of even date with said Deed of Trust by said John M D Burrows to Cook & Sargent, 4 of said Notes being for the sum of $5,000 each and payable in three years from the date of said Deed; four others of said notes being for the sum of Ten thousand dollars each and payable in three years from the date of said Deed of Trust - Twelve others of said notes being for the sum of $125 each.
