they were prepared to meet the same, and if not what amount of money if any was paid by them on said notes & upon what times and conditions if any was payment of the balance delayed and what if anything was done to further secure the debt or balance of the same due to the endorsers or holders of said notes. Int 7 Are you personally acquainted with the complainant Thomas C Durant; if so, state any conversation had with him if any, or any fact or circumstance within your knowledge showing or tending to show that prior to the 27th day of January 1860, said Durant had knowledge of the conditions by which said Lee Higginson & Co retained said notes & Deed of Trust, state fully all your knowledge and if you refer to any writings please attach the same or a Copy of the same to your deposition, or if you cannot, state why you cannot -
