24th Jan'y 1890 My Dear Mr Durant, Your telegram of today is at hand. I enclose Lester's statement in the Farnam matter as you desired. The claim bears interest at 7 pr ct until Jany 1-1880. when the legal rate was changed by law to 6%. I have been over the computation and find it correct. They have sent to New Haven to Mrs Farnam for the proper satisfaction of the judgment which will take it off the record in New York. Now that you are in NY again we may expect to see you here I hope.
