My dear Sir

     I have at least succeeded in ascertaining the total expenses of the yacht club band on the annual cruise, which were $979.88 and
the number of yachts among which it is to be divided, which is twenty two, making each ones proportion $44.54 As you paid $100.-
I now enclose W H. McVickar - check  to your order for the balance due you $55.46
