Ship Brokers and Commission Merchants 66 South St. New York Feby 7th 1872 My dear Sir, I have an enquiry for a Yacht of about 120 ton register, and our parties are desirous of purchasing a fast as well as a comfortably fitted boat - Thinking that Mr. Durant might feel inclined to sell the "Idler" I write to ascertain his ideas of price &c. I cannot of course say how much my parties would pay, but are willing to give a fair price for a boat of the "Idler's" age & condition - Any information that you can give me upon the subject, will greatly oblige Yours very truly A.H.
