Saturday January 28th 1882 I finished the edging for the boys night shirts and sewed it on so now they are all finished besides doing some mending it was a very cold day so we all stayed right at home Rob went to Desmoines tonight. Sunday January 29th 1882. I partly did my work this morning and went to church. I read in the afternoon and evening. John and Hatt were over to supper. Monday January 30th 1882. I did my usual amount of work in the morning and Bridget did a large washing I was knitting on a pair of mittens for May in the afternoon after I had practiced awhile We got two new boarders today Otto went to Tipton in the afternoon Laura Shipman got wet while skating and came here to stay all night.
