Tuesday March 28th 1882. My shoes did not suit me so I went over this morning to change them I helped get the dinner after I came home and in the afternoon Mother went over town and we girls began on the house-cleaning Went to bed early. I was so tired. Wednesday March 29th 1882. It was a good day for the work so Bridget and I worked all day at the house-cleaning we took up all the carpets we intend to and Bridget washed out curtains before we began our work this morning. Lee is twenty years old today. Thursday March 30th 1882. I cleaned the parlor and bed-room this forenoon, put up curtains after Bridget ironed them. Aunty Walker was over part of the day. Mother and I went over town in the afternoon and selected a new set of furniture for the parlor bed-room I took supper with Win and we spent the evening down to Hatts.
