Council Bluffs. We got a new boarder yesterday from New Jersey, Mr Gray by name. I scrubbed the porch cleaned the parlor and did some extra work. Mr R_ and I started out about four oclock to invite Mothers company for tomorrow evening. We were at all the places on this side of the river before supper and in the evening were over town We brought Hatt over after some milk and took her back. Thursday September 7th 1882. It was a very pleasant morning and we got our work all done up The ladies came in the afternoon and we had quite a pleasant tea party. We sent for Hatt and Otto took her home after supper. It took Mother and I till nearly bed-time to get the work done up. Friday September 8th 1882. I soon got the work done up this and went over town. I got two small boxes of peaches and some other
