Tuesday October 10th 1882. I was busy about the work all the forenoon and in the afternoon went to town. Hatt was over with the baby but I was all ready so went along. Went to see Aunt Walker awhile. I played on the piano in the evening. Weather cold & chilly. Wednesday October 11th 1882. It was a gloomy rainy day. I was busy about the house-work all the forenoon and worked afternoon and evening to hem a dozen new napkins by hand, I got when I was over Tuesday. had a letter from Vene Thursday October 12th 1882. I was at work about the house most of the day, it is still rainy and gloomy Mother wanted to go to town all day but the weather prevented. I played on the piano in the evening
