McCulloch Mine June 30th, 1855 Dear Doctor, Thought Bank of Cape Fear claim against Lindsay. 169.00 - [Sloans]- about 350.00 shall get McConnell about 700.00 another about 14.00 1233.00 Say 1,300 covers all the Judgments - [illegible] has got claimants to postpone sale until August court when I get Claims in my hands can order sale within 20 days. Tell me if I shall do so. If I do so you buy title in New York. I'll get sheriffs title & possession here if any body else gets sheriffs title you get New York title & possessions. The ore cannot be got unless Coffin filed & Reese be paid $2,000 debts. pay them at leisure put the same money into the mine & get much more ore
