STATE OF NEW-YORK, CITY AND COUNTY OF NEW-YORK,} SS.
By this Public Instrument, Be it Remembered, That on this Eighteenth day of December A.D. one thousand eight hundred and fifty five before me, SYLVESTER LAY, a Commissioner in and for the State of New York, duly appointed by the Governor of the State of North Carolina, duly commissioned and sworn, residing in the City of New York, and authorized to take Depositions, Affidavits, and the proof and acknowledgment of Deeds, So. to be used and recorded in the said State of North Carolina 
Personally Appeared Mattie New Palmer to me known to be the same person described in and she executed the griping conveyance and acknowledged that he did sign seal and deliver the parcel as his new voluntary act and deed. 
In Witness Whereof, I have herunto set my hand and affixed my official seal, this 18th day of December in the year of our Lord and thousand eight hundred and fifty five
