Copy Instructions given Mr. Palmer for working the Lindsay Mine Item 1. Put one of the Deep River Mills in Order at as little expence as possible, using the Runner and Bed Stone if necessary from the Mill House at the McCulloch and consult with Mr. Rodman as to the cheap plan to do it, the Expence I understand will be very trifling. 2. Employ Mr. ? at the Deep River Mill. 3. Stop the Stamps at the Lindsay for the present. 4. Put in the 7 inch Pump to work by ? Power in the No 1 South Shaft provided - there is length enough of Pump to answer the purpose. Mr Rodman will order the working piece. All of this Mr Harvy said, can be done with very little expence and in a short time the 7 Inch Pump is at the McCulloch and is the same that came from the Lindsay weigh the 7 inch pup and also weigh the 9 Inch Pup and hold the same to be sent to the McCulloch when wanted over
