Spice Ginger bread 1 lb flour 1 oz Ginger finely grated 1/4 oz Coriander seed twice ground 1/2 lb butter the peel of a lemon or a [?] Orange shred fine and 2 oz powder sugar - Mix all these well with 1 lb of [?] - roll and cut it into cakes and bake them on tins. [?] [/} Cake an excellent cake Mix thoroughly in 2 lbs of flour 2 [?] of Carbonate of Soda The same quantity of salt, 20 grains of tartarin and 1/2 lb butter - 1 lb currants 1/2 lb sugar - spice to taste - mix
