[in right margin] [illegible] [Columbs?] [illegible] Tinct cochlea iii larg. bis. die. [right margin] 3 tablespoonsful twice a day Prescription of D. Clarke for a weakness of stomach & pain in the side - To make durable marking Ink for writing on Linen [right margin] Dr Wilkins LLD R 1 Dram of Lunar Caustic 2 Drams of weak solution of Galls [right margin] for the Ink - 1 oz of Salt of Tartar 1 oz of soft Water [right margin] for the preparation Let the Linen be wetted with teh preparation and when dried write upon it the marks required with a new pen dipped in the Ink - no washing will ever take out the writing or marks made by this Ink [left margin] Rx For a constant pain in the Loins extending to the back spleen affected [Pul.?] ex Hydrang. q ii Extr Colocynth q iii [Hyosiyami?] q ii [oleica?] Cyophyll - qtt ii Syrn. q s [illegible] omni nocte n.
