Casd - z i M fecit haustus bis die [illegible] for Mrs. Wardroper CMC The following prescription for the cure of a bad cough was given to DL leg Mrs Bates of James Street Buckingham Gate 16 Feb. 1831 Poppies - 3 grains [Tunback?] 2 Grains D James Powder - 1 Grain to be made into a Pill and taken when going to Bed To cure a confirmed Dropsy - Let the Patient take ten Drops of the [Muriate?] of Iron in a Wineglassful of [illegible] Water every half hour till a sufficient quantity of Water is discharged - and this to be daily repeated till the Disease has left the Patient - Aperient Pills Calomelaris - sii Pulv. Rhei - s viii Aqua q s [illegible] Pil. ij hai nocte nun [illegible] CmC [left margin] 6 July 1830
