W. Fromwal's(?) Prescription for making milk/ wine 16 February 18-- one Dozen of Lemons 3 tt(?) of loaf Sugar 2 Nutmegs 1 oz of Green Tea 3 Quarts of Rum 1 Quart of Milk 5 Quarts of Water peel the Lemons as thin as possible(?) + put the Rines into the Rum over Night- on the following Morning boil the Tea Sugar and the Lemons in the Water for a quarter of an hour then add to them the Rum with the Nutmegs when the whole is cold add the Milk scalding hot. let(?) stand twelve hours and strain through a jellybag twice- this liquor will be fit to drink after having been three weeks in bottle NB The corks may be rosined(?) down in the Bottles- Saponaceous Draught for the cure of the Yellow Jaundice Yellow Jaundice R. from two to four samples(?) (according to the (illegible~college?) and Mate(?) of the Patient and the Disease) of the but(?) Venice Soap & boil it in six ounces of Milk till reduced to four ounces then add three (illegible) of sugar and strain it for a Draught- The above quantity to be taken every morning and evening for four or five Days- when No Complaint it is supposed will be cured- Epileptic Fits According to the celebrated (S Barbette?) a similar Saponaceous Draught cured a young Woman of the most-dreadful Epileptic Fits with which she had been afflicted for above a Year, each fit commonly holding her from 7 o'Clock in the
