Monday February 28th 1881 I was busy about the work all the forenoon Mother went to town in the afternoon and I helped Bridget wash. I knit all the evening. Tuesday March 1st 1881 I went down to West Liberty with Hatt we found our friends there were gone away so we spent the day at the Hise house I could not get home till the nine oclock train It happened that Art Sherwood was on the train so I had company home.
