Monday April 18th 1881 I was busy about the house part of the forenoon and made May a new sun bonnet. After dinner I helped wash the dishes as Bridget was washing. I went over town and got May a new dress and some other things. Then I went down to see Hatt where I stayed till nearly night. I wrote a letter to Charlie in the evening and a note to Mary Donovan. Weather not so pleasant as yesterday. Tuesday April 19th 1881 As soon as I got my work done this morning I began work on a dress for May. I kept her at home today. I sewed all day and all the evening. Hatt was over home all the afternoon. Wednesday April 20th 1881 I sewed all day. finished Mays suit and an apron. Aunty and Esther were here in the afternoon. John came over for the rest of their things and said their furniture had come from Burlington. Weather delightful.
