Tuesday May 24th 1881. I did up the work and practiced an hour in the forenoon. Hatt came over about ten in the morning and stayed till about five in the afternoon. I was sewing some in the afternoon and practiced nearly two hours in the evening. Weather warm. Wednesday {May} 25th 1881 I was busy about the house all the forenoon and practiced two hours in the afternoon. I then went over town and down to Hatts where I stayed till after supper Thursday May 26th 1881 I was busy about the house all the forenoon and practiced and sewed in the afternoon. Weather very warm. Wrote to Jennie McCallister Friday May 27th 1881 I cleaned up the house real nice this morning Orrie went home today. I practiced in the afternoon and took another lesson. I was tired and went to bed early. Hatt was here a moment this evening.
