Friday September 2nd 1881 Bridget washed this morning while I was busy about the rooms up stairs putting things to rights. We cleaned the boys room down stairs in the afternoon and ironed part of the things. I am nearly tired out. Saturday September 3rd 1881 We did not do any thing more at the house cleaning today for we had company. Lizzie Lindley and children were here and Winnie was over. Mr Burton started home this morning. I helped with the work and made some trimming with thread what spare time I had. Charlie Mc-- {McCallister?} is here staying all night. Rob got home today. Him and I were over town in the evening Sunday September 4th 1881 I took May to Sunday school this morning and taught a class. May stayed with Win while I went to church
