Tuesday November 22nd 1881. I went over town in the forenoon and got some stuff to make a lamberquin for the bay window which I did in the afternoon. Mother went to town. I felt so badly that Mother doctored me up before I went to bed. Wednesday November 23rd 1881 It was a very wintry day. I staid at home and knit all the time I had to spare. Blanche Helmich came today though the train was so late that she did not get here till nearly night. I am knitting a pair of mittens for Otto. Orrie went home tonight Thursday November 24th 1881 Mother went over to Eugene Harts this forenoon and Rob went to the country. I helped get the dinner ready. We did not have a very large family. I was busy knitting on Ottos mittens. Weather pleasanter than yesterday A letter from Mr Norris
