12 To prevent the harmfull effects of burning Charcoal. Set an uncovered vesel filled with boiling Water over the pan containing the Charcoal the vapour of which will counteract the deliterious fumes and while it keeps boiling will make Charcoal as safe as any other fuel. 13 For Thorseness or Cold Put a teaspoonful of white sugar four ounce bottle add to it one teaspoonful of Hartshorn and one tablespoonful of the oil of Almonds Fill the bottle with Cold spring Water shake it and take one or two wine glasses
