17 An excellent Yellow Dye Half an ounce of Spanish [illegible] with two ounces of pearl ash boiled in three quarts of soft Water When shot is well boiled put in your linen and cover it with water let it boil for an hour take it out and rince it in three Waters put Alum in the last water. 18 Weak Lungs Put half a pint of Butter milk into a bottle with two or three lumps of Sugar then fill up the bottle with new milk and cook it very close Shake it gently two or three times a day and leave it in a moderate
