48 To Make Cold Cream Miss Birkheads - One Ounce of White Wax Melted in Rose Water and beat up till smooth with 2 Oz of Oil of Sweet Almonds and add any scent you like 49. Saline Draughts - Salt of Tartar & fine Sugar 20 Grains 3 tablespoonfuls of Water 1 Ditto Lemon juice - 1 Teaspoonful of Brandy. - 50. For garrel - Dissolve 3 drachm of Nitre in a Quart of Water take half this quantity in the day it is best often a Meal. Do 1/4 oz stick licquorice put in a tea pot with 1/2 pint boiling water, Drink it cold fasting in the morning & again at 12 fasting 2 hours afterwards. -
