highly rectified spirits of wine and 4 ounces of Camphor let them be well mixed and incorporated then add 4 ounces of the best Volotile spirits of Sal Ammonish If both the spirits used be not good the proper quantity of Camphor will not be taken up by them It is equally efficacious used as an embocation for Sprain Rheumatism and all Kind or sore throats. 56. Rheumatism. A Clergyman of Norfolk has lately been perfectly cured of Rheumatism by applying fresh Sanrct leaves sewed together on a piece of Cloth in order to keep them together and wearing them round the part affected. They must be fresh every morning.
