20 To make a Plumb Cake To one pound of flour a spoonful of Cinnamon and the same of Nutmeg 5 ounces of sugar rub in a quarter of a pound of butter put in half a pound of Currants wet it with four eggs leaving out two whites and three spoonfuls of yeast and half a pint of Milk it may be baked in small Cakes or a large one. 21 Plumb Pudding without Eggs Half a lb of raisins stoned half a lb of Currants half a lb of Suet chopped fine ten ounces of flour a little salt and Ginger mix'd well together with Milk and boiled five hours in a basin
