Potatoe Puffs boil six potatoes and put them in a mortar grate as much [Cheshire?] cheese as will give it a taste. add an egg put cayanne pepper and salt to your taste beat them together for a qr of an hour, make them up in smooth balls with a little flour in your hand a qr of an hour will bake them. Miss Talbot Water Pudding Put six table spoonsful of flour mix into it 6 ozs of brown sugar and the peel of a lemon chopped fine take 8 table spoonsful of spring water over with a small portion of it melt 6 ozs of butter with all of which mix up the flour add the juice of half a lemon and when cold the yolkes and whites of 6 eggs beaten separaty [Mrs T Floris?]
