Milk Punch Lemon 2 Dozn [illegible] one of lump sugar six pounds [brandy?] 2 quarts [illegible] one gallon [illegible] water six pints & [illegible] milk one gallon peel the Lemons [illegible] thin and grate the nutmeg which steep in the brandy for three days [illegible] the lemon juice on the sugar [illegible] of the [illegible] what [illegible] in the water then mix all together in a lage jug and pour thereon the milk [illegible] boiling Lot stir it well and cover it close for 12 [hours?] often which [filter?] it through a [illegible] bag until it becomes quite fine on the bottle it [illegible][Decr?] 15 79 Let those who fear the soul take - [illegible] and let those who do not fear it take - [pinch?]
