Tuesday January 6th 1880 I helped do up the work this forenoon and knit a little. Just after dinner Mr Charlie Helmich, Mr Lallant and a Mr [Bemers?] came. Mr B will stay and room with Lallant. Weather miserable wet and dark. Mr. Geisler came tonight. Wednesday January 7th 1880 I ironed this forenoon and helped with the dinner. Worked on my pillow case in the afternoon and evening. Weather foggy. Mr. Russell and Lufkin came tonight. Thursday January 8th 1880 I washed this forenoon and went over town in the afternoon. I got a [illegible] put on my garnet pin and some taken of my earrings. I got some little notions and came back home. I intended to go to Wins and stay till after meeting but it was raining a little and likely to be very dark so I came on home.
