Friday January 9th 1880 I helped with the work all the forenoon and in the afternoon and evening did some mending, worked on my pillow case and ripped up an old dress. I do not feel very well today I took cold yesterday. Saturday January 10th 1880 I ironed some this forenoon and helped get the dinner over. Mother went over as soon as she could after dinner. I went to town before three oclock and did not get home till five and Win came with me and stayed till after supper. I did a little mending in the evening, read a little and went to bed. Sunday January 11th 1880 I helped some with the work and then got ready and went to church. I read a little in the afternoon. Win was over. In the evening I wrote to Charlie and Ira. Weather colder than it was. I do not feel well at all.
