Monday February 2nd 1880 Hatt did the washing this forenoon and I cleaned up the house. In the afternoon Mother and her went down to see Aunty Smith. Ira went to the valley. Win, Ella Mc and Ella Rhodes were here in the afternoon and Mrs R stayed till after supper. Rob took her over town and I went to church. Tuesday February 3rd 1880 I ironed some this morning and we had company Mrs Middleton was over. In the afternoon Cousin Ella and Ida Halson was here. I worked on carpet rags. Weather not very pleasant. Wednesday February 4th 1880 I finished the ironing this morning and helped get the dinner. Ira and John Mc were here for dinner. I worked all the afternoon and till late in the evening to make Rob a pair of dark colored shirts.
