Monday February 9th 1880 I did the washing this forenoon and as soon as we got the dinner work done I went down to Robinsons and staid till nearly supper time. In the evening we young folks went down to Sanders to spend the evening and did not get home till midnight. Tuesday February 10th 1880 I ironed some this morning and went to town before dinner. I got yarn for me a pair mittens and thread to work my red set. I worked at that all the afternoon. Wednesday February 11th 1880 I finished the ironing before noon and worked at my chain stitching in the afternoon and knit in the evening. Hatt went to the dancing class tonight. Thursday February 12th 1880 I helped with the work and knit what spare time I had on my mittens. We all went to hear Maggie Mitchell play Fanchon in the evening and it was splendid.
