Friday February 27th 1880 I ironed this morning and in the afternoon Lee took we girls with Win out to see Grace Carroll. We got back about four oclock the wind was so cold the ride was not pleasant. I worked at my chain stitching all the evening. Saturday February 18th 1880 I did some baking this forenoon and helped Hatt some about cleaning up the house. It stormed terribly after four oclock none of our company came but Winnie and Mr Seers. Lillie came before night. I was very much disappointed. Sunday February 29th 1880 I helped some with the work this morning and went to church. After church Winnie and I went to see about some one to sew. I came back there and stayed till after dinner and she came home with me. I helped with the supper work and read a little in the evening.
