awhile in the evening Rob and I and Mirion and Hatt went to church. I was tired and went right to bed as soon as I got home. A very pleasant day. Hatt is 23 years old today. Monday May 10th 1880 I did the washing and cleaned the porch floor before noon. Soon after dinner I went to town and called to see how May Fairall was after her hurt last week. Rob and I called at Murrys to look at the Doctor who died yesterday. We came back up town and selected paper and curtains for the parlors. Mirion took Rob Hatt and I to the goblins tonight. Tuesday May 11th 1880 I did the ironing this forenoon and we girls took the furniture out of the rooms and washed the ceilings and wood-work. I was so tired I went to bed before it was hardly dark.
