Thursday September 30th 1880 We had so much extra house-work to do in the forenoon I got no time at the piano and Mrs Wilde was here all the afternoon. I did some little sewing just before supper Mother helped put away the apples she got yesterday Friday October 1st 1880 We got our work done by two oclock I went over to my music lesson and Mother took May with her for a ride to the west farm I came home and got the supper. Mr Helmichs brother and cousin came to stay over Sunday Mother and I were real late getting the supper work done. Weather warm. Saturday October 2nd 1880 It was so warm it was fairly sultry today my work seemed to drag all day I could not accomplish any-thing. Win was over all day. We had a terrible rain storm just at night. I got no time to practice today.
