Sunday November 14th 1880 It was a very pleasant morning and John & Hatt, Rob and I went to church I rested and read in the afternoon and John and Hatt went over to Homes and did not get back till after church I was sorry I could not go to church in the evening. Monday November 15th 1880 I did a large washing this morning and practiced some in the afternoon Hattie went over town I knit in the evening to finish my mitten. Tuesday November 16th 1880 I was busy all the forenoon fixing my things to go away tomorrow. As soon as I ate my dinner I went over town and after doing a little shopping went up to Wins where I stayed till bed time. We went to the wristlet social at the church for a very little while, there were several of our boys over. Weather very much colder.
