Cure for Chilblains a mixture of "Goulard's Extract" and "camphoradest Spirits" - in Such proportions as any Chemist will regulate Miss Jackson Gout Medicine 1-ounce of powder of Gum Guiacum 1-do of - do Rhubarb 1-do - of - do - Sulphurs 1-do - of - do Nitre - These ingredients are to be mixed in 6 ounces of Treacle, taking a Tea spoonful every night gong to bed; If not sufficient to operate twice, a little [illegible] should be Taken - If meant as an alternative, the above should be used till the whole is gone, resting 3 months and renewing the same. If being particularly beneficial in serofulous complaints - It requires no particular regiman but to guard against cold -Sest - 1845 - 6 Grams dry Quinine to 1 Pint cold Water with 1 glass of Sherry - Take 1 or 2 wine Glasses in the day 1/2 hour before Meals - or very small quantity of Tarsaric Acid put into water & bottle shaken dissolves Quinine
