[Marking Ink?] Take of [Lumon?] Caustic-100 grains. [illegible] arabic 2 drachems, [illegible] in water one ounce by measure. Tap green to colour it deeply. Preparation Take of tab soda 1 oz by weight. Leave in water 2 oz by measure. For Tie [Dolorense?] Best Peruvian bark bruised 1/2 lb. French brandy 1 quart. The above to be submitted to a moderate heat for a fortnight or three weeks, afterwards add 2 oz of gention root. Dose - one teaspoonful in a little white wine two or three times a day. Mrs. G. Jackson Bee food Autumn. 1-1/2 tb of coarse sugar to one quart of formed ale boiled and thinned over a clear fire for a quarter of an hour. Spring. 1 tb to a quart with a drachem or two of salt. Mrs. W. Hest Bee food 4 oz of sugar, 1/2 pint of ale. set it on the fire for five minutes put in a little salt. Mrs. Steel.
