For Blacking Shoes 5 oz of Ivory Black, 2 oz of Treacle, 1 oz & 1/2 of Spium oil, indigo the size of a nut, 1 oz of oil of vitriol, Bottle of vinegar - mix the Ivory Black, treacle and spium oil well together, pound the indigo very fine and put it in, then add the vinegar and last the oil of vitriol, let it stand all night, bottle it the next morning, it is then fit for use James Oia Seigtington For rheumatic Gout - do of spirits of wine do of salvolasite do of appaditooc do of oil of Spikes do of Tincture of Mryyh do of Cardur or some luck home Addy's receipt.
