Sloe Gin To a gallon of Gin, put 3 quarts of Sloes 1/2 an ounce of Bitter almonds. 3 lb Loaf sugar (castor) Shake it up well twice a week for 3 months - Then let it rest so as to get it clear - Draw off and bottle - and to each bottle add a wine glass of Curacao Congendium - Prick hand all over first. use sugar candy instead of sugar
