Saturday February 2 1889 I helped Adda about the work a little. Mother and Aunt Lib spent the day in town. It was very pleasant weather. Will did not get home from the valley till four oclock. I knit on my lace some Sunday February 3 1888 Mother and Aunt Lib went to church and Mother was invited to Mrs Moores for dinner and did not get home till four oclock. I helped Adda some about the dinner and Will and I sat in our room and talked all afternoon and read in the evening Monday February 4 1889 I helped some with the work in the forenoon and put in some time in the afternoon at the Piano. Mother and Adda washed in the afternoon. The morning was pleasant but the wind raised and it grew colder at night. Tuesday February 5 1889 Mother went to town in the forenoon and I helped Adda with the dinner and practiced late in the afternoon. Will was talking with me before that. I finished my edging in the evening. Wednesday February 6 1889 Adda got the ironing done today I practiced a little in the forenoon. Will went to the valley and brought home the last of his posts. Hart Spencer brought us a quarter of beef and Will cut it up in the afternoon. Hattie was over most of the afternoon. I worked on my skirts afternoon and evening Thursday February 7 1889 I helped Adda with the work and finished my skirts Mother went over to help the girls quilt. In the afternoon Adda did quite a large washing. I practiced some and Charlie came home with Mother to stay all night. We had a very pleasant evening visit Friday February 8 1889 I was busy about the work most of the forenoon. Mother went to town as soon as she ate her dinner. Will was over too. I practiced nearly all afternoon. Edith came home with Mother to stay all night. Will spent evening at home.
