Thursday May 29th 1890 Robbie is seven years old today. We were busy about the work most of the forenoon. I did some baking. I wrote a letter to Mother in the afternoon. and worked on my fly net. weather very warm. I feel tired from yesterdays work. Friday May 30th 1890 I washed out a few things this morning. Winnie came back to stay all night. Soon as we had dinner Tishie got ready to go with her folks to the decoration exercises. I took my time to doing up the work and fixed me a couple of dresses. I worked on the net in the evening. a very warm day. Saturday May 31st 1890 We had a good deal of work to do but got through with it in very good time. Tishie did not feel very well. Jennie was here a few moments on her way from town. The girls were here from town this morning for some things. I sent Robbie a few more chickens to put with his old hen. a warm day. Sunday June 1st 1890 It is three years today since Ott & Fan were married. I am far from well today but managed to get through with the work. I am grieved almost to death with the trouble of the family. Tishie was gone home all day. Monday June 2nd 1890 Tishie came back this morning and we got the work done in time that I sewed today and finished my blue calico dress. It was a very warm day. Will went to the valley in the afternoon. Him and I started to go up after Winnie after supper but were driven back by the storm. There was a hard rain. Tuesday June 3rd 1890 I was busy about the work most of the forenoon, worked a little on the net. Laurence helped us wash in the afternoon. We sent for Winnie and found she was in town Will went and hunted her up. She come over to see me in the evening and promised to come to work tomorrow. Wednesday June 4th 1890 I ironed a few things this morning and put the rest of the clothes on the line. Tishie went home after the chamber
