Friday October 23rd 1891 Mother felt much better today. We washed and ironed both and I went to town with Will in the afternoon. I was done at Hatties awhile. In the evening I made a new table felt for the dining table that I bought this afternoon. weather pleasant. Saturday October 24th 1891 It was a very pleasant day. Hattie came over and Mother went with her to see Dr Moon as she did not rest well last night. I was busy all forenoon with the baking and other work and in the afternoon let Agnes do up all the work while I did some mending. I cleaned out my work basket in the evening. Hattie brought Mother home at five oclock feeling better. Will went up to Independence to the races. Sunday October 25th 1891 It was a fine day. Will and I went to church in the morning and stopped at Hatts a moment before coming home. Father brought Aunty over for dinner Will and I went to the west farm in the afternoon and stopped at Marys on our way home. Some of the folks had been over from town. Monday October 26th 1891 I worked most of the day on an old dress I am fixing for myself. Will took me over town late in the afternoon. I got some things I needed. Miss Fanny Hepburn started from Hatties today. John & Hatt went to the country visiting Post Office. Tuesday October 27th 1891 I was busy sewing on my dress all day. Mother is feeling much better. The girls were here a few moments in the forenoon. Will and I was out to Woolfs and over town after supper. Will had begun to crib corn. Wednesday October 28th 1891 We washed this morning and Aunt Ellen & Libbie came for a visit I worked on a stand cover in the afternoon and in the evening a little on my dress.
