Sunday July 24th 1892 It was an extremely hot morning. I went out to the pasture with Will and from there over to town after the mail. The most of the afternoon we spent in the yard. We got the supper over and did the evening work early. The folks were all over from town to spend the evening. Monday July 25th 1892 I went to town with the buggy early this morning. I got home before nine oclock. Mother done up the work while I was gone. I was sewing in the afternoon on dresses for myself. The men were working in the hay. Tuesday July 26th 1892 I done the washing this morning and just before noon Hattie came to take Mother over for the day. I was sewing what time I could spare from the work. It was a hot day. Wednesday July 27th 17892 I did the ironing this morning and worked in the yard a little. Edith was over for the day and Lizzie Lindley came just before dinner for the rest of the day. I was sewing what time I had. The men were at work in the hay. After supper Will hitched up and we went out to see Miller abut cutting oats and then on over town for meat. I was very tired tonight. Thursday July 28th 1892 I was busy about the work most of the forenoon. Hattie brought Fanny over to spend the day. Ott came over for dinner and supper. There was a heavy rain in the afternoon that the men could not work. Friday July 29th 1892 After the morning work was done Will took me over to Marys for a little while. I was busy sewing in the afternoon. Mother went over to Holsons in the afternoon and did not come home till after supper. Lizzie Lindley came up before supper and stayed all night. Will went to town a little while and the rest of the evening was spent in visiting.
