January, Friday, 3, 1862. Rather more pleasant to day My Unkle and his Son arrived from Ohio this evening they report the Friends all well back there Johnathan Black and I were out on a tramp last night and did not get home till one o clock, and I do not feel good to day, I was very glad to see my Unkle and get all the news from home It has the appearence of snow this evening I do hope It may snow so that we can take a sleigh ride.
