January THURSDAY, 9, 1862. We left Marengo this morning at 1/2 past 7 o clock and passing through Genoa Bluffs, we came to the town of Millersburgh After stopping there a few moments we went west some 4 or 5 miles to Mr. A. T. Crosses, and not finding the old Jentleman at Home we concluded to Tarry a while and see iff he would come home. Mr. Cross came Home at 4 o'clock and invited us to stay for Tea After tea we left Mr Cross and traveled some 3 miles to Mr. Wilson where we stopped for the night and now I would like to go to Bed. but I expect those old folks will want to talk some time----
