January, FRIDAY, 10 1862. We started from Wilsons Went west 3/4 of a mile to Mr. Morrisons and in going that distance I had my Nose frosen so we came to the conclusion it was too cold to travel and we concluded to stop. After staying their some two hours we started for Home but could not travel far [until?] we would have stop and warm After Passing through Millersburg Nevada & South English we stoped for the night with Mr Sherman after supper we went to bed and had a good nights rest. It is now morning and I want to go home.
