January, FRIDAY, 24, 1862. This morning was rather Pleasent but it has turned out to be a stormy and disagreeable day rather a dull day for Business I have felt very Bad all day and I think I must go out calling to night but I expect it will not Pay, I think Unkle Dan has the Blues--as I anticipated I went calling and had a pretty good time. A. is a very fine young Lady I think I shall Call on her again.
