February, SUNDAY, 2, 1862. A very cold day thermometer stood 16 degrees below zero. Unkle & Aunt went up to our Church to day the Rev. Shearer Favored us with a very good sermon the Foundation of whitch will be found in Genesis 32 Chapter the 24 to 27 verses inclusive. Mother remained at Home and she cooking cabbage for I smell it we went to Church again this Evening and Mr. Shearer expoundes part of the 15 chapter of John. I seen no Duck there that I could go home with so I just hitched on to Jonathans arm and took Him Home.
